Atlantis (Sa Pedrera de Cala d'Hort) is Ibiza's most mythical hidden spot — an old sandstone quarry with carved pools, hippy rock art and a head-on view of Es Vedrà.
The hike
Start at Torre des Savinar trailhead (parking on the dirt road off Cala d'Hort). 35 min descent on steep, loose rock — sturdy shoes mandatory. Same time back up. No shade — go before 10:00 or after 17:00 in summer.
What you'll find
Quarry blocks cut by 16th-century stonemasons, natural rock pools you can swim in, Buddha and goddess carvings left by the 70s hippy community, and a small cave shrine.
Safety
No facilities, no lifeguards, no phone signal in places. Don't attempt with rain (path becomes deadly). Take 2 L water and tell someone your plan.
After the hike, lunch at El Carmen beach restaurant on Cala d'Hort. Stay in a villa in Sant Josep nearby and combine with a boat day around Es Vedrà.
