Benirràs is Ibiza's iconic hippy beach on the wild north coast — famous for the Sunday drum-circle sunset framed by Es Cap Nonó, the finger-shaped rock pointing out of the sea.
The beach
350 m of coarse sand and pebbles in a deep U-shaped bay, calm protected water, three chiringuitos. Sunbeds 18-22 €/pair.
Sunday drum sunset
Every Sunday from May to October, dozens of drummers gather from 18:00; sunset behind Es Cap Nonó around 20:30 in summer. Arrive by 17:00 — parking fills fast. Free.

Parking
Free dirt lots on the access road (arrive before 11:00 in August, before 16:00 Sundays). The road is narrow and one-way in places — drive slowly.
Stay in a villa in San Joan or San Miguel and combine with a boat day to Portinatx and the north coast caves.
