Cala en Turqueta Menorca 2027: Turquoise Cove, Parking & Camí de Cavalls
Cala en Turqueta is one of Menorca's most photogenic south-coast coves — turquoise water, fine white sand and pines down to the beach, 15 km south of Ciutadella.
Access & parking
Drive the CIME-4 road from Ciutadella, follow signs from Son Vivó. Paid parking 7 €/day (8:00-20:00, daily limit 350 cars — closes when full). 15 min walk down a shaded path to the cove. Closed gate after capacity reached: arrive before 10:00 in July-August.
The cove
200 m of white sand, pine shade on the right side, calm water (depth 1-3 m, perfect for kids and snorkeling). No facilities, no kiosk — bring water, food and shade. Toilets and small kiosk at the parking.
Camí de Cavalls walk
The Camí de Cavalls coastal path passes through — walk west 20 min to Cala Macarella and Macarelleta (just as beautiful, plus a kiosk). One of the best half-day walks on the island.
Boat alternative
Anchor 50 m out — sandy bottom 5 m. Day-charter from Ciutadella stops here on the south-coast cove tour.
