The three must-see beaches
Su Giudeu (the icon, dunes, islet you can wade to, parking 5 €/day). Tuerredda (15 min south, postcard cove with islet, capacity limit 1100 people in summer — go early or by 16:00). Cala Cipolla (next to Su Giudeu, pine-shaded, smaller crowds).
Pink flamingos
The Spartivento lagoon behind Su Giudeu hosts flocks of pink flamingos year-round — best viewed at sunrise or sunset from the wooden boardwalk. Free.
Chia tower & sunset
Climb the 16th-c. Torre di Chia (Spanish watchtower, free, open path) for 360° views over all the beaches — locals' favorite sunset spot.
Eat
Sa Punta (mains 22-35 €, sea views), Su Giudeu Beach kiosk (sandwiches 8 €).
