200-m crescent of fine sand, shallow water 80 m out — Menorca's safest family beach. No sunbeds (protected area), bring your own umbrella. Two small chiringuitos.
S'Albufera des Grau wetlands
The largest lagoon in the Balearics, 70 hectares. Two free walking trails from the village (1 h and 2 h loops) past observation hides — flamingos, herons, ospreys, turtles. Visitor center 9:00-15:00.
Illa d'en Colom (swim there or boat)
The island visible from the beach, 200 m offshore. Strong swimmers can swim across in 15 min (no boat traffic, but check currents). Or take the small ferry (5 €, hourly 10:00-17:00 in summer). Two beaches on the island, no facilities.
Cami de Cavalls passes through
Stage 11 of the coastal path starts at Es Grau — walk 2 h north to Cala Tortuga for total solitude.
