Walking route

Start at Old Port → Matogianni street (shopping) → Plateia Mavrogenous → Paraportiani → Little Venice → Kato Mili windmills. 90 min with stops.

Kounelas — fresh fish since 1950, 50 €/pax. M-eating — modern Greek, 70 €/pax. Joanna's Niko's — taverna with sea view, 40 €/pax. Nice n Easy — organic, sea view, 60 €.

Tips

Visit 10:00–12:00 (cool, empty) or after 18:00 (cruise crowds gone). No cars in old town. Sunset at Little Venice 19:30–20:30 — arrive 1h early. Don't miss the pelican mascot Petros.
