La Seu — Palma Cathedral — is Mallorca's most visited monument, a Gothic giant on the seafront restored by Antoni Gaudí between 1904 and 1914.

10 € online (includes museum and terraces). Open Mon-Fri 10:00-17:15, Sat 10:00-14:15, closed Sun for mass. Terrace tour 20 € (book 2 weeks ahead in summer).
The Festival of Light
Twice a year (2 Feb and 11 Nov, around 08:00-08:30) sunlight passes through the east rose window and projects a second rose on the west wall — the famous "figure of eight" phenomenon. Free entry that morning, arrive at 07:30.
