Hike or boat
The hike from Afionas takes 25-35 minutes each way on rocky terrain. Wear real shoes. The easier option is a small boat from Agios Georgios Pagon, especially with children.
Timing
Go before 10:00 for parking in Afionas and cooler walking. There are no facilities on the beach, so bring water and take rubbish back.
Viewpoint
The classic photo is 10 minutes down the trail before the final descent. Stay on the path: the slopes are loose and steep.
