Changing of the guard
Daily at 11:55 sharp on the Palace Square. Free, lasts 5 minutes. Arrive by 11:30 for a front view. Carabiniers in white (summer) or black (winter).
Getting to the Rock
From Port Hercule, take the panoramic lift behind the Oceanographic Museum (free) or walk up the Rampe Major (10 min, steep). Cars not allowed except residents.
