Sa Calobra is a hidden cove on Mallorca's north coast where the Torrent de Pareis canyon — 200-m vertical walls — meets the sea. Reach it by the legendary serpentine road, by boat, or on foot.
The road (Coll dels Reis)
26 km of 26 hairpins including the "Nus de la Corbata" (tie knot — a full 360° loop). 50 min drive from Pollença. Park 4 €, walk 800 m through a tunnel to the beach.
By boat from Port de Sóller
Daily 10:00 & 12:00, 22 € return. The relaxed option — no parking stress, sea views all the way.
Torrent de Pareis hike
3 h descent from Escorca (S-21) through the canyon to Sa Calobra. Technical: scrambling, possible swims. April-October only, never after rain.
