Sa Calobra & Torrent de Pareis Mallorca 2027: Road, Boat & Canyon Walk
Sa Calobra is a tiny cove on Mallorca's north coast at the mouth of the Torrent de Pareis canyon — reached by one of Europe's most spectacular roads or by boat.
The road (MA-2141)
14 km of hairpins from Coll de Reis down to sea level, including the famous "Nus de sa Corbata" (Tie Knot) 360° loop. 45 min descent, 1 h back up. Avoid 10:00-16:00 in summer (tour buses block passing). Best: early morning or sunset.
Boat option (recommended)
Barcos Azules from Port de Sóller — 1 h scenic ride along the cliffs of the Tramuntana, daily 10:00/12:15/14:30. Adult 25 €, child 12,50 €. Booking recommended.
The canyon walk
From the cove, walk 200 m through two tunnels to the dramatic mouth of Torrent de Pareis — 400 m walls, white pebble beach. The full canyon hike (top-down from Escorca) is 7 h, technical, dry season only (May-October), not a casual walk.
Eat
Restaurant Sa Calobra (mains 18-25 €, terrace over the cove).
