Santo Wines in Pyrgos is Santorini's largest cooperative winery — perched on the caldera with one of the island's best sunset terraces, far cheaper than Oia.
Tasting flights
4 wines from 12 €, 12 wines + cheese platter 45 €. Always include the indigenous Assyrtiko (crisp volcanic white) and Vinsanto (sweet sun-dried dessert wine, aged 4-25 years). No reservation needed for daytime tastings.
Sunset reservation
Sunset table reservation 25 € pp (deducted from spend). Book online 7-10 days ahead in summer. Tables open 19:00 in August.
Tour
Free self-guided tour of the production area and ageing caves. 20-min guided tour 8 €, 4x daily.
Combine with Pyrgos village
Park once: walk up to Pyrgos castle (15 min, free, panoramic) then back down to Santo Wines for sunset.
