Perissa is Santorini's langste zwarte vulkanische zandstrand — 7 km aan de zuidoostkust onder de dramatische 360 m Mesa Vouno-rots, met het schoonste zwemwater van het eiland.

Waarschuwing zwart zand

Het zwarte zand wordt vanaf 11:00 gloeiend heet (60 °C+) — slippers verplicht. Huur ligbedden direct.

Ligbedden & taverna's

Ligbedden 15-20 €/paar met parasol langs hele strand. Beste taverna's: The Net (hoofdgerechten 14-22 €, aan zee), Yazz (Grieks + cocktails), Wet Stories (DJ, jong). Gratis douches.

Wandeling Ancient Thera

Vanuit Perissa 1 u 15 omhoog op Mesa Vouno naar de ruïnes van Ancient Thera (9e eeuw v.Chr., gratis, 8:00-15:30, dinsdag dicht) — 360° uitzicht over Perissa en Kamari.

Parkeren & toegang

Gratis parking achter de promenade. 25 min met bus vanaf Fira (2 €) of 15 min met auto. Rustiger dan Kamari en half zo duur.

Verblijf in villa in Perissa of Emporio en combineer met een catamarancruise door de caldera.
